How our client support portal at friscocomputerservice.net handles the information you provide. Last updated July 22, 2026.
This policy describes how our client support portal (friscocomputerservice.net) collects and uses information — the remote-support downloads, the ticket form, and the pages here. Frisco Computer Service LLC’s general privacy practices are described on our main site at friscocomputerservice.com.
When you submit a support ticket, we collect what you enter on the form:
Please don’t include passwords or other credentials in a ticket. When we need to share a credential with you, we do it securely through Bitwarden rather than by email.
To help us diagnose issues faster and reduce back-and-forth, the ticket form records a few technical details about the device you’re using when you submit: your operating system, your web browser, and your IP address. Our web server also keeps standard access logs, as most websites do.
We use this information solely to respond to and resolve your support request. Ticket submissions are delivered by email to our Technical Assistance Center through our email provider (Twilio SendGrid), and we keep a minimal internal record of each submission — a reference number, the priority, your email address, your IP address, and the subject line. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
This portal loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. The portal also links out to third-party services — the client login portals, the public status pages, and the diagnostic tools in our Help section. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we don’t control how they handle your data.
Remote support runs only when you launch the FCS Remote Support app and share your session ID and password. Sessions are attended by you, you approve each connection, and the app gives us no standing access — nothing keeps running after we disconnect.
We retain support tickets and their records for as long as we need them to provide support and maintain our business records, after which they’re disposed of in the normal course.
To ask about the information we hold, request a copy, or ask us to delete a support record, email support@friscocomputerservice.com or call the Technical Assistance Center at (972) 908-0175. For our company-wide privacy practices, see the privacy policy on friscocomputerservice.com.
